I have the following information, courtesy of the Parke Co., IN library:

"Nathan Wall is buried in the West Union Cemetery in Reserve Township of

Parke County. He was born 8 December 1817 and died 7 September 1872.
There was no "s" on the name in the cemetery record."

Also I looked up the census for 1870 and have the following. These NC
birthplaces were most likely in Randolph County, North Carolina. This
family
was listed in both the 1850 and 1860 Census there. Adison Walls was son
of Nathan and
Martha. He was listed as 1 year old in 1860 but probably was older than
that.

can send a copy of this sheet via email so you can see it for yourself)

the four children, Nancy, Franklin, Elwood, and Emma all attended
school.

Also have Thomas Wall, b. 1784-1790 married Frances Lamb b. abt 1791, on
December 08, 1812 in Randolph Co., NC, bondsman Christopher Robbins.
There was one male, born 1810-1820 in their household in 1840 who I
believe was probably born closer to 1820 than 1810 because the older
children would have gone by then. This could very well be Nathan L.
Wall because Frances Lamb was the daughter of Nathan Lamb and Mary
Dunn. I do not know what happened to Thomas and Frances Wall but their
bondsman Christopher Robbins moved to Hendricks County, IN, not too far
from Parke County, IN.

Let me know if anyone has information to add to these families. Thanks,
Tim Walls
