My father had a small factory in that general area in the 1950's - he
manufactured floor wax among other things. I don't remember the year, but a
loop of highway 63 was built around there, and the factory and other homes
in the area had to be demolished. This was in the area close to where N.
3rd and Maple avenue are now - it was west of that area. I am very
disappointed that no one in the family seems to have a picture of the
factory/building. As a small child it seemed large to me, but it probably
was not very big.
