I am trying to make a connection between two families with a similar surname.

Peter Petershak(birth certificate spelling),(now Paterchak) was born to Louis and Anna Petercsak in Terre Haute, IN in Oct. of 1907.

Michael Joe Patercsak was born Sept 9 or 29, 1910 to Michael and Elizibeth Koretz Patercsak.

I KNOW that these two are not brothers, but might be cousins. If anyone could help with ANY information at all on these two families, I would be forever grateful.

Michael Joe Paterchak was living at 1625 Beech St. in Terre Haute, IN when he filed his SS-5 application in Dec. of 1936 and working at the T.H. Mall. & Mfg. Co. ( I wonder if this could be Malleable Steel and Mfg. as that seemed to be a common usage of Mall. back then).

Thanks for any help on my "brick wall". Maybe a city directory look-up or something?
