Henry Smith Morris was born 22 May 1873 in Terre Haute,
Vigo, IN (according to family). His parents were George H.
Morris and Mary T. Eames (not at all sure of this spelling
but it was pronounced Ames.)
Her parents were born in Germany according to the 1900
census. In addition to Henry, they had Virginia Lizabeth, 1
July 1871. This family moved either to Ozark County, MO or
just over the state line to Fulton County, AR sometime after
Henry and Virginia were born. They are not in any census
until 1900 in Oregon Co., MO which is next door to Mammoth
Spring, Fulton, AR. They ended up in Mammoth Spring where
Henry and his wife along with George and Mary are buried.
Any census information or any information at all would be
helpful. Henry was my grandfather. Thanks so much for any
information or any suggestions as to where to search.
