I found these while editing a translation and abstraction of notices in the Portsmouth Correspondent. Thoughts someone might like a copy.
Eaves, Jennie 8 November 1895 page 3:5
Died at the residence of Mr. C.A. Goddard, near Franklin Furnace, on Saturday night suddenly; during the day she felt so well that she decided to tell her husband, the contractor Cyrus Eaves, that she wanted to spend Sunday visiting with the family of Mr. Goddard; they had spent the evening with their friends, but when her husband awoke at 2:30 in the morning, he found her dead and already cold; Mrs. Eaves was a daughter of Rev. R.J. Wallace, who for many years was the minister at the Sixth Street Methodist Church and in 1892 went to Chillicothe; 27 years old; she was married last June; the funeral was on Tuesday afternoon.
Eaves, Mary E. 5 November 1899 page 8:4
The mother of Miss Agnes and Lydia Eaves died on Thursday morning at her residence on East Third Street.
